Kermel Insulright laminates for thermal and electrical insulationIn order to meet the market trends with a full range of products, KERMEL has launched KERMEL INSULRIGHT which has outstanding properties especially in environments submitted to high temperature constraints of about 180°C.
KERMEL INSULRIGHTTM is mainly dedicated to structures such as laminates which are composed of two layers of Kermel InsulrightTM calendered paper – available in different thicknesses - and one layer of polyester or polyimide film as follows:
Additionally, Kermel Insulright™
laminate has good mechanical properties such as good mechanical
strength and elongation.
KERMEL has developed a new range of original heat shielding materials for the manufacture of fire-fighters’ fire suits and fire resistant clothing.
Though appearing no different from conventional linings, this revolutionary new shield reacts when exposed to intense heat, changing its form to create protection channels and thus increase its heat shielding efficiency.
This lightweight, thin, water jet nonwoven aramid fabric has a dual purpose application: it can be used as a membrane backing or as an improved replacement for needleflet, thanks to its excellent thermal properties and dimensional stability.
