Kermel GLENGUARD

Kermel workwear offer protection against electrical arc

One of the lightest fabrics to pass the requirements of the NFPA 70E standard

This original product has already proven itself to many petrochemical and electrical industry users. Kermel GlenGuard is one of the world's lightest product to be approved by the NFPA 70E Class 2 standard pertaining to electric arc protection.

The feel of Kermel GlenGuard fabrics is comparable to that of cotton, and like all Kermel® products, they do not pill and possess a longer service life.

Once more, the fibers used in this product are producer dyed, thus resulting in colours which do not run after several uses.

The original combination of Kermel GlenGuard offers a light and pleasant clothing to wear, while providing a high degree of resistance recognized in the industrial cleaning world.

Properties and benefits of Kermel GLENGUARD:

  • color is inherent in the fibers blend (not a dye or treatment) so fabric will have better color retention,
  • blend fibers are engineered to offer moisture management to help keep you cool and dry,
  • stands up to all forms of laundering better than other brands,
  • though as nails! Strong fibers offer increased wear life due to better abrasion resistance,
  • lightweight 6.4 oz/sq.yd. (217 g/m2),
  • competitively priced with equivalent weights of other meta-aramids.
