Wildland suits

New wildland suit made out of one-layer Kermel fabric

Station wear garments are also used by wildland firefighters in Spain, France or Italy:

  • Kermel V50 (50% Kermel®, 50% FR Viscose), 260 g/sqm,

  • Kermel V70 (70% Kermel®, 30% FR Viscose), 205 and 230 g/sqm.

 In order to widen the range of solutions, KERMEL has developed new fabrics to meet the specific needs of wildland firefighters:

  • comfort in hot conditions over a long period of time,

  • air permeability,

  • sweat transport,

  • high visibility colours (bright orange, bright yellow),

  • high mechanical strength (tear strength).

 Solutions made out of Kermel®:

  • HEROSKIN®:

    • 230 g/sqm for North Europe,

    • 175 g/sqm for South Europe;

  •  KERMEL V50:

    • 230 g/sqm associated with 250 g/sqm (for the reinforced parts of the garments, e.g. on the knees).
